Fairbanks, Republican nominee for vice president, accompanied the funeral train bearing the body of* his mother, Mrs. Mary Adelaide Smith Fairbanks, to Springfield, 0., where the funeral was held Wednesday afternoon. Newton H. Fairbanks of Springfield had charge of all funeral -arrangements.
