Ministerial Association Notes

After about three months of vacation the Ministerial association met Tuesday, October 18, at 2 o’clock in the library office. Dr. Curnick having moved to Indianapolis it became necessary to select a new president. This honor fell upon Rev. Fleming of the Presbyterian church. The name of Rev. Edward W. Strecker, the new pastor of the Methodist church, was added to our roll. The treasurer’s report was read and showed a balance on the right side of the ledger. The remainder of the session was spent in discussing ways and means of better fulfilling our mission as churches in our community. This was a very helpful and inspiring meeting and the aim is to make all subsequent sessions more so if possible. REV. F. H. BEARD, Sec’y.
