D. F. HOUSTON HERE MONDAY
Secretary of Agriculture to Make Address in Rensselaer. Hon. David F. Houston, secretary of agriculture in President Wilson’s cabinet, will be in Rensselaer next Monday evening and make a speech at the Ellis opera house. Mr. 'Houston will speak at Winamac in the afternoon and the day following will speak in Chicago. Rensselaer is indeed fortunate in having Mr. Houston come here, and it is qtfite probable that farmers in particular will avail themselves of the opportunity to hear him. Since Mr. Houston has been secretary of agriculture the farmers have had expert and conscientious representation in the President’s cabinet. He has passed by no opportunity to serve them and their interests. After speaking in Chicago Mr. Houston will go to New York where he is scheduled to speak in several of the larger cities of the state.
