TRAMP IS INJURED AT DELPHI

Either Fell or Was Thrown from a Moving Train. Dr. I. M. Washburn received word Thursday that a tramp had been injured while stealing a ride on a Monon freight train east of Monon, when he either fell or was thrown ofT. The injured man was placed on a train and taken to Delphi, hut

would not ho accepted there so the Monon notified the company surgeon here and Dr. Washburn accompanied him to Chicago from this city. The man’s name was Clyde Smith and his home was in Chicago, he stated. The man had suffered one broken leg and internal injuries besides numerous cuts and bruises about the body. Upon arriving at Chicago he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
