MOOSE INITIATE NEW MEMBERS

Newly Organized Lodge Enjoys Big ยป Time Sunday. From the pleased look on the faces of something over 100 Moose one would naturally suspicion that, they had had a most enjoyable time recently when they initiated the following members into their order: Sidney Peters, William W. Lee, Ben D. McColly, Everet Marlin, Wm. M. Ohappell, Ben Zimmerman, (Henry Brooks, Alec Lassiter, A. C. Lassiter, Russel Timmons, Jesse Nichols, Len Pever, Andrew Wheeler, August Olson, Isaac Wiltshire, Sam Perkins, A. D. Hershman, J. H. Branson, John Zimmer, Charles Weiss, Paul Stoudt, Pert Hall, Charles M. Hudson, D. S. Makeever, Frank Hoover, C. M. Blue, Frank Critser. The editor has had occasion to go over the rooms recently rented by the Loyal Order of Moose in the Nowels House and he can certainly say that there is no place in town that compares with them for club quarters. It is the understanding that they, intend to run up their membership to at least 500 members and with the new quarters and benefits they have received in return it would look as if that is what is going to happen. The original initiation fee is $25, but has been lowered to $5 now for a short time in order to take in new members. There certainly has been a long felt need for a social order and club rooms of this character where the farmer and business man can go and call it his home while in the city. Each member has his own key and may enter this home at any and all times and will always find a good warm fire and a welcome hand among his brothers.
