Mrs. Zeb S'walm of Aix Is quite sick with plural pneumonia. Raymond McKay, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. 11. McKay, Is confined to the house with a very sore throat. Lester Gorham, who had been sick for the past two weeks with scarlet fever, has fully recovered and will soon be out again. Captain Herman B. Tuteur of Company M, who has been on the Mexican border, was expected to arrive in Rensselaer yesterday on a twenty-day furlough. Company M will be In charge of Lieutenant E. L. Watson during Captain Tuteur’s absence. President Underwood of the Erie announces he will vote for President Wilson. He differs from him on some points—notably the “eighthour law.’’ But he concludes that, on the whole, he ig preferable to his opponent. The same conclusion was not long since reached by President Lovett of the Union Pacific. -—Chicago Herald.
