Purdue ,»u.j Will Be Here for Local Show. J. M. Sauser has received word from G. I. Christie of Purdue university that J. D. Harper, a poultry judge of experience, would be in Rensselaer for the poultry and corn show to be held here beginning January 1. Mr. Christie also suggests that those in charge here arrange a separate meeting place for Mr. Harper to give a lecture on corn, which would be of service, and it is quite probable that this will be carried out. "<• It is also suggested that a series of farmers' Institutes be arranged for, and Mr. Christie promises earnest co-operation along this line.
