INDIANA GUARDSMEN MAY VOTE Indianapolis. October 18.—A suggestion that a special session of the Indiana legislature be called to enact a law, by which the members of the Indiana national guard, now on the Texas border, could cast thefr votes in the November election was made to Governor Ralston today in a letter from Newton Gilbert of Fort Wayne, former lieutenant governor. Other states have taken action and Mr Gilbert declares that Indiana should assist Its citizen soldiers. There are 3,487 enlisted men and officers now in Texas, all members of the Indiana national guard.
