Danville (III.) Papers Increase Rates

Danville, 111., Aug. 30.—Because of the increased cost of print paper, the Danville Commercial-News and the Danville Press have announced the papers will cost $4 a year by mail and 15 cents a week by carrier, The price has been $3 by mail, and 10 cents by carrier. Country newspaper publishers in this vicinity also have announced'*an increase in price from $1 to $1.50 or *s2 for weekly editions.
