Miss Margaretta Bass of Indianapolis, who had been here visiting Miss Nina Martindale a few days, returned home Friday.
Bert Hoeft of Geneseo, 111., who had been here visiting his sister, Mrs. Loren Sage, and husband a few days, returning home Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. J, D. Allman went to Indianapolis Monday to visit Lawrence Hawkins and family. Mr. Hawkins is a brother of Mrs. Allman.
Ross Peregrine and wife of Mitchell, South Dakota, who had been here visiting relatives and friends for some time, left for their home Saturday.
A. J. Landis and wife went to Carmel, Ind., Saturday to attend the funeral of their son, Norman Landis’, wife. They will visit in Indianapolis before return/ing home.
Mrs. V. A. Johnston and Mrs. Elizabeth Simons and son of Barberton, Ohio, came the latter part of the week for a visit with the ladies’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Sheck.

James Mead and family of Detroit, Michigan, came Friday to visit Mrs. Mead’s mother, Mrs. E. L. Clark. Mrs. Mead and daughter Wanda are convalescing from their recent attack of diphtheria.
Henry Amsler’s son-in-law, Irving L. Jones, will move onto Mr. Amsler’s Pleasant Ridge farm, now occupied by Lon Colton, next year, and Mr. Colton will move on Howard Mills’ farm in south Barkley.
Mrs. C. W, Duvall accompanied her son John of Chicago last Sunday on his vacation trip to Denver, Colo., where they will visit relatives and she also expects to visit relatives in Kansas before returning. Her husband will possibly join her in Kansas.
