Newark, N. J., Aug. 11.—J. A. H. Hopkins, chairman of the New Jersey Progressive state committee, has placed his services at the disposal of President Wilson in his campaign for re-election. At the same time Mr. Hopkins said he wa3 opposed to an official indorsement of the President by the Progressive organization. as reconstruction of the party in New Jersey would be his aim.
