Notice is hereby given by the undersigned that he will on the sth dav of July, 1916, at the hour of one o’clock P. M., at his residence near Tefft, Indiana, receive sealed bids for the erection and construction of a high school building in said township, to be located at Tefft, Indiana. Plans and specifications are now on file at my residence and open to the inspection of bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of $500.00, payable to’the undersigned, to guaranty that said bidder if awarded the contract will enter into a written contract for the erection and construction of said building according to the plans and specifications, and give bond for the faithful performance of said | contract within 10 days from said above ■date, and upon failure to enter into said contract and execute said bond, within said 10 days, then said check of $500.00 shall become the absolute property of the undersigned in behalf of said township. Trustee of Kankakee School Township. !j-14-21-28 NOTICE OF SALE SCHOOL HOUSE BONDS. Notice is hereby given by the undersigned. Trustee of Kankakee school township, that at the hour of one o’clock P. M„ July ,i. 1916, at the office of said trustee, (at his residence), he will offer for sale the bonds of said school township in the sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars, in thirty equal series of Four Hundred Dollars each, extending through a period of fifteen years, said bonds to be dated July 1, 1916, the first of said bonds maturing July 1, 1917, and one bond each six months thereafter, said bonds to bear interest at the rate of five per cent per annum, said interest falling due semi-an-nually on July Ist and January Ist of each year, being the maturing dates of said bonds. Said bonds to be sold for not less than par. Said bonds are to provide funds with which to construct a high school building in said township, and the sale of said bonds has been authorized by proper action pnd order of the advisory board of said township.
