FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER

Michigan Man Sentenced to Life Imprisonment for Killing His Aunt. X Cassopolis, Mich., Feb. 25. —With seeming indifference, Sylvester Thornburg heard a jury in the circuit court pronoupce him guilty of murder in the first degree in having caused the death of his aunt, Mrs. Almira Thornburg. The woman’s body with head battered by a stick of wood, was found at her farmhouse near here a few weeks ago. Thornburg did not take the stand in his own defense. Judge L. B. Desvoignes imposed a sentence of life imprisonment in Jackson penitentiary.
