Hot Tea Biscuits.

If you want to serve the biscuits fresh and hot here is a good way to proceed: Into one quart flour put one teaspoonful salt, three level teaspoonfuls baking powder, and sift all together into a small mixing bowl. Then melt onq tablespconful shortening and pour into one cupful sweet milk, pouring all into the flour. Lightly mix to the consistency of dougHor rolling. Roll and cut cne indbthick, placing in baking pan rpady for the oven. Place the papain a cool place until wanted for baking, about 20 minutes before serving.
