Hugh Kirk and Miss Lois Thompson Married Yesterday.

Mr. Hugh Kirk and Miss Lois Thohipson, eldest daughter of Mr; and Mrs. Delos Thompson, were married at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Thompson home on Front street. The ceremony was performed by Rev. ,J. C. Barrett, of Hammond, in the presence of only the immediate relatives of t'he contracting parties. The young couple left soon after the ceremony for a few days’’ automobile trip—but did not disclose their itinerary—and on their return wilt take up their residence in one of the Stockton houses on the east side of the public square, which the groom has already furnished. Mr. and Mrs. Kirk were both born and raised in Rensselaer and have a host of friends wfiom The Democrat joins in extending hearty congratulations.
