City Council Proceedings.

At the regular meeting of the common council Monday evening all members were present except Councilman Kresler. But little business was * transacted of special importance. The application of Harry Watson for a plumber's license was granted on filing of bond and payment of license fee. The assessments for the construction of the brick alley in block 9, original plat, were confirmed and ordered certified to the treasurer. City Engineer W. F. Osborne reported the completion of the sewer on West Washington, Jackson and Elza according to plans and specifications, and recommended its acceptance. Report approved and the engineer directed to prepare assessment roll. The usual- bunch of claims were allowed.
