To Make Auto Tires.
South Bend, Ind., Nov. 6. Peter E. Studebaker, son of Hie hue Henry Studebaker, one of the founders of the Studebaker Corporation, has accepted the presidency of the International India Rubber Tiro Company, a inillion-dollar corporation, recently organized in South Bend. The concern will make automobile tires and sell direct to the dealer, eliminating jobbers. Other officers are: E. 11. Schwab, Bethlehem, Penn., vice-president; George W. O'Dell, Findlay, Ohio, secretary; J. R. Nobile, treasurer. These men, with William S. Moore, city engineer of Grand Rapids, Mich., form the board of directors. The plant of the corporation will be erected at South Bend.
