Birthday Dinner for McCoysburg Citizen.
Friends and relatives of R. V. Johns of McCoysburg, gave him a very pleasant surprise Friday by coming with filled baskets and a bountiful dinner was served. Mr. Johns received many useful presents. 4 Those present were Mr. and Mrs. David Benson and son, Cecil, of Lacross; Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Lear. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dobbins, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johns and baby, of Seafield; Mr. and Mrs. John Mitchell, Mrs. Dora Beaver and two daughters, Sylvia and Dollle, of Milroy; Mr. and Mrs. Will McDonald and two children, Glynn and Opal, Mrs. T. B. Stevenson and daughter, Alice, of McCoysburg. After all enjoying an auto drive they departed for their homes wishing R. V. Johns many more happy returns of the day. Mr. and Mrs. David Benson and son will remain for a few days’ visit with relatives here.—Monon News.
