Many Thanks, Son.
Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Babcock received by American express Thursday a fine 14-pound Columbia river salmon, from their son, George M. Babcock, of Everett, Wash. The fish was packed in ice and evidently came through to Chicago in a refrigerator car, as more than half the ice was still in the box when it arrived here, although it was just a week on the road. Mr. Salmon was a beauty and was the largest fish of its kind caught in the catch of Thursday, Oct. 21, in that section of Puget Sound waters.
