While in Rensselaer Wednesday, County Treasurer-elect Charles V May of Carpenter tp., closed a deai for the purchase of the former J. L. Brady residence property, owned for the-past few years by Elizur Sage, now of Newton tp. The price paid is $5,000. This is one of the largest and finest brick houses in Rensselaer, and is cheap at the price paid. The property is somewhat run down and needs from SSOO to SI,OOO expended on it in the way of repairs.
