COMBINATION VIEW OF LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM EXTENSION

This house is artistic both as to the exterior and interior. Dark brown siding with white trim and the main roof sweeping over the front piazza give a very graceful effect. The living room and dining room are finished in dark oak, with beamed ceiling. lonic columns extending to the ™>iHng give a classic and substantial effect to the division between the living and dining room. Both rooms are well provided with windows, those of the entrance being leaded. Size, 40 feet wide by 32 feet deep. First story 9 feet in the clear, second story 8 feet, basement 7 feet Cost to build, exclusive of heating and plumbing, $4,000. Upon receipt of $1 the publisher of this paper will furnish a copy of Saxton’s book of plans, “American Dwellings.’’ It contains 310 designs costing from SI,OOO to $6,000; also a book of interiors, $1 per copy.
