Old Soldiers Exempt From Licenses.

Lest some of our worthy veterans may be unaware of their privilege we hereby remind them that the ’last legislature provided a bill that any honorably discharged soldier, sailor or marine who fought in the civil war will be permitted to fish or hunt this year without a license. The law reads: “Be it enacted by the general assembly of the state of Indiana, that any honorably discharged soldier, sailor or marine of the United States shall be entitled to fish or hunt during any open season for fish or game in the state of Indiana without procuring a license as required by law.”
