Praises Newspapers After He Gets Wife Through Ad.

Alexandria, Ind., Alay 14.—-John Bright, about seventy years old, a civil war veteran, is a firm believer in newspaper advertising. “Newspaper advertising is all right,” he said. “I advertised in’a newspaper for a wife, and I got one.’’ Bright and Mrs. Elnora V. Hartwell obtained a marriage license at Anderson and were married by Justice of the Peace Brunt. They will live in a newly furnished home in the north part of the city. Bright received forty-three_ letters in three days from women in the state who wished to marry, after he had advertised for a wife.
