Latin, temperaments will clash when John De Palma and J. Porporato meet in the next 000-mile race on the Indianapolis motor speedway. Both are to make their speedway debut, De Palma handling the Delage Rene Thomas drove to victory last year, and Porporato taking the place of Louis Coatalen, the Sunbeam chief engineer, who is too busy making English war machines to drive himself. De Palma is a brother of Ralph De Palma, the American road racing champion. Porporato won the 1908 Targo Bologna.
