Divorced Couple Remarried at Fowler.

Dr. S. -M. Green, of Dixon, 111., and Dr. Nellie Green were married Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock by tbe Rev. Bandy, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The ceremony was ■witnessed fyy Mr. Will Sleeper and Miss Hazel Fuller. They were mar-

ried in 1572 at Detroit, Mich., and soon after came west and Dr. S. M. Green engaged in practice. Mrs. Green, being a strong willed warn an, assisted in the practice against the wishes of the husband. After eight years of wedded life they separated on account of this difference. Dr. Nellie Green coming to Fowler,

where she has resided ever since. Both prospered in their professions. After a time the husband wrote concerning divorce and of re-marry-ing, all of which was satisfactory to the wife, if a new wife could he found to suit him. During the holidays Dr. Nellie received a letter from her former husband. It stated that hisj wife was dead and sougnt permission to correspond; then a permission to visit. The brief visit ended in the ceremony of .Monday afternoon. The doctors went to Chicago Monday evening and will remain in the city several days.—Fowler rnimne.
