Another Victim of Tuberculosis Passes Away.
John W. Smith, the painter dnd paper hanger, who had been a sufferer from that dread disease consumption for the past few years, died at his home in the northeast part of town at LI: 15 Friday night. •He had been in a critical condition for several days and liis friends knew that the end was near. The funeral was held Monday at 2:30 p. m., from Trinity M. E. church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Curnick, and burial made in Weston cemetery. Deceased was a member of both the I. O. O. F. and Red Men orders, anA number of members of uiese orders attended the funeral. The latter order had charge of the burial services. Mr. Smith leaves an aged mother, a wife and one son, Floyd, and two brothers and one sister, hind many friends to mourn his death. A daughter died from the same disease only last June. His age was 40 years, 4 months and 19 days.
