Work for a Year.

Laporte, IncT, March 28.—The Dodge Manufacturing* Co., Mishawaka, will tomorrow put 1,000 men at work on full time. The company has a big order for transmission machinery for the Dupont Powder mills, the order calling for the making of machinery valued at $1,000,000. The company has other orders which will keep the plant in steady operation for more than a year, with every indication pointing to the increasing of the force to 1,500 men.
