Little Boy Run Over by Grocery Delivery Wagon.
Harold Blackman, a little 6-year-old primary pupil, while playing marbles in the street in front of the school bMilding yesterday forenoon, was run over- by one of the grocery delivery wagons and his face bruised and cut where the wheel passed over him, and it was thought perhaps his nose was broken. The driver of the wagon, “Fleet” Ramey, had yelled to the bunch of children to get out of the way, and all did so except the little Blackman boy, who was knocked down and run over. He was picked up and carried to the high school building where his face was washed of blood and he was taken to the office of Dr. Gwin, who found that he was not seriously injured*
The playing of marbles in the street about the school buildings should be stopped, as several people have complained lately that they are afraid of running over the children, who seem to have little fear of automobiles or other vehicles. «
