Marriage licenses issued: March 9, David Sytsftia of Roselawn, aged 27,- Sept. 10 last, occupation farmer, to Ida De Long of Demotte, aged 26 Dec. 10 last, occupation housekeeper. First marriage for each. J. A. Wells was here from Aledo, 111., Monday with a couDle of parties seeking land. Mr. WellsTs cashier of the bank at Aledo which owns the land in controversy in court here, Thom.as Ward, former owner, contesting their title to same. J. L. Beesley of Francesville, was here Friday on business connected with the estate of the late Tillett, of which he is administrator. Forty acres of land in Gillam tp., has been sold to Mrs. Emma D. Robinson, daughter of decedent, .for $3,800. This land joins the land of her husband, P. T. Robinson. The Miami county land, consisting of 266 acres, has been sold to Ada M. Huff for $33,000 cash. This disposes of all the real estate except the residence property in Francesville.
