Miss Pearl Horn, teacher of the Gifford school, which is closed on account of scarlet fever in that neighborhood, went to her home in Idaville Tuesday to remain until the school is opened again! No new cases have developed at this writing.
Tire jury in the murder case against William McCoy of Frankfort, returned a verdict of not guilty Tuesday. McCoy slict and killed his wife and her paramour a few months ago. Public sympathy was with him, and the defense set up the plea that he was insane at tile time he committed the act.
