Farrell ot the United States .Steel Corporation, visited Ferrell some years ago, in the course o fhis remarks he stated that the Farrell pay roll amounted to $8,000,000 The wide-awake business men conceived the idea of adopting as the town’s slogan, “Farrell’s pay roll is $8,000,000.’’ ~
