Former Remington Man Dies at Monticello.

Charles Capes, a former citizen of Remington, died at his home in Monticello Tuesday night, aged 69 years. Mr. Capes formerly resided at’Remington, but moved to Monticello some five years ago. His death was caused from pneumonia. He was sick about one week. He is survived by a wife and three children, Mrs. Ella Phillips of South Dakota, and Frank and George Cap'esnf Idaville. Mr. Capes was born in England, July 11, 1848. The funeral was held at Monticello Thursday afternoon and burial made in the cemetery at that place.
