The reason why they are now waging war is that they think they are fighting for life and death in the midst of hostile enemies. THE MACHINERY OF THE AGE <8 THE REAL CAUSE OF THE WAR, INCLUDING AS MACHINERY THE MOBILIZATION FACILITIES, GUNS AND DREADNOUGHTS.
