Spain-Amsler.
A very pretty wedding took place Wednesday at noon at the home' of Bert Amsler of south of town, when his daughter, Miss Myrtle Amsler, was united in marriage to Mr. Floyd Spain, of north of Rensselaer. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Paul C. Curnick, in the presence of the immediate family and relatives. After the ceremony a splendid turkey dinner was served. The young couple left on the same afternoon for a wedding trip after which they will return and take up their residence on the Charles F. Stackhouse farm north of Rensselaer, where the groom has made his home most of his life, he being a nephew of Mrs. Stackhouse. The Democrat joins their many friends in extending congratulations.
