Rensselaer’s boulevard lamps are single lights on top of a post, and the papers there are claiming that they are much handsomer than the cluster lights. A fox who had his tail cut off in a steel trap once tried to induce all other foxes to adopt the fashion of going without tails. But he never made much headway.— Monticello Herald. -
