Shower Given For Bride-to-Be.

A miscellaneous shower was given Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Waymire in Barkley tp., for Miss Helen Meader, a well known teacher in the Jasper county schools for the past few years, and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira F. Meader of Union tp., who is to become the bride on Christmas day of Mr. Harry Arnold, a brother of Mrs. Way mire’s and son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Arnold of Barkley tp. There were quite a number of young ladies in attendance at the shower and Miss Meader received many presents.
