Lange went to Laporte Wednesday on business, returning yesterday. Mr. Lange has leased a pstrt of George Collins’ shoe store room and expected to get his piano and music stock moved into same yesterday. Mr? M. C. Mills of New Point, Ind., returned home Tuesday after a visit with her son, Zack Stanley and family of Union tp., and her brother, James Fisher, of Hammond. The latter has been in poor health for several months. Mr. aud Mrs. M. Johnston o' Minnesota, have moved here and are temporarily stopping in Rensselaer. They will move March 1 onto the Joe Gaines farm, just over the line in Newton county, at present occupied by Mr. Hooper. Mrs. John ston is a daughter of Mr. Gaines, and we understand the latter will reside with them.
