Mr. and Mrs. George Kanne and little daughter went to Campus, 111., Thursday for a couple of weeks’ visit with relatives and friends. Mrs. Bert Brenner of Valparaiso, came Sunday evening and has been visiting old friends here all week, returning home yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hazen of Walker tp., returned Wednesday from a short visit with their daughter, Mrs. T. C. Garlock, of Monticello. W. I. Hoover, the Ford agent, unloaded another car of these popular low-priced automobiles this week. John Bill, after a couple of years residence in town, has decided to go back on his farm, now occupied by his son-in-law, Harvey Keen southwest of Rensselaer. Mr. Keen will move onto his father’s farm in Jordan tp., William Keen, who will move to Goodland. Mr. Bill will either sell or rent his property on river street.
