[From The Tribune.} Palmer Wells of Morocco, was here yesterday. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Rex, in Jefferson, Wednesday morning, a ten pound boy. Mose Tudor of Indianapolis, and John Yerion of El Paso, 111., are •here on business. Attorney Claude O. Netherton of Chicago, was here Saturday, the guest of his brother, Dr. C. R. Netherton. Mrs. Peyton Davisson and Mrs. Mary Comstock were called to Morocco Friday on account of the sickness of a relative. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Hullinger are attending a birthday dinner at Monon today, given by the members of the Critten family. Mr. and Mrs. Urban Ren of Pleasant Grove, vetre the guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Will Ren and Mrs. Adam Huppert and daughter. Mrs. W. A. Geer left Tuesday for Slaton, Texas, where she will spend several weeks with her son, Russell, who is a conductor on the Sante Fe. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Todd of Wabash, who have been staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Ricks, west of town, for some time, returned Sunday. Mrs. Mary Markin of Rolfe, lowa, is here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peyton Davisson, and her sisters, Mrs. Oliver Engle and Mrs. H. C. Jentz. Thomas Wise left Monday to attend the funeral of Zachory Davis, who died Sunday at Rushville, aged 14 years. He was the grandfather of Mrs. Chas. Hubbard and Mrs. E. R. Burget. who were both with him when death came. Harry J. Malott, aged 26 years, was killed instantly Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock on she Hansen & Golding dredge in Franklin town-

S. and Walter Eastburn of Brookston, visited at the Bond home.
