London, Oct. 23. —General ron Trip and his staff, commanding German Invaders In Belgium, were all killed by a shot fired from a British vessel In the English channel, a news agency dispatch states. The German commander was at Mlddelkerke, south of Ostend, when a well aimed shell landed in the midst of the group and the resulting explosion killed every one. The name of the vessel from which the shot came has not been learned.
