A petition for a new depot, numerously signed by Monon business and professional men, has been forwarded to President H. R. Kurrie of the Monon railroad. The petition was circulated by Fred Thomas and no difficulty was experienced in securing names. The needs of such an improvement here was clearly and forcibly presented and no doubt Mr. Kurrie will concur in the facts set forth. It is hoped that conditions may warrant favorable action in the near future.—Monon News.
