Death of Miss Lena Simpson

Lena, the 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Simpson, died at the home of her parents, on the corner of Vine and Dayton streets, Monday afternoon. She had been an invalid for several years, the result of a stroke of paralysis. She became critically ill Sunday evening and suffered several convulsions, until she became unconscious, in which condition she remained until death came at about 2 p. m., Monday. Up tb noon yesterday the funeral arrangements had not been completed, but it is understood that it will be held sometime tomorrow.
