THREE HURT IN AUTO WRECK.

" Two persons were slightly hurt and one possibly seriously injured, lay. in an automobile accident, near Thayer, Ind., between Crown nt and Rensselaer. The party was • its way roni Chicago to Indiana'.polis. ft included G. G. Schmidt and wife, Dr. Glen /Bookwaiter and Miss (ora Hartman. Mr. Schmidt was driving the car. Near Thayer there is a dangerous curve, where nurjiber of automobile accidents have occurred. Mr. Schmidt said the sand on the read, was dry and the car did not keep the road, and when it skidded, to avoid turning over, he headed the car for the ditch. Mrs. Schmidt suffered a sprained ankle. Dr. Bookwaiter suffered a bruised knee-cap and Miss Hartman ■offered a broken arm, and it is •nought possibly she was injured internally. Miss Hartman was taken to the Methodist hospital today. The accident occurred near the home of Tunis Snip, trustee of Keener township. Jasper county.
