Mrs. Hurley and Mrs. Merrill were Shopping in Parr Monday. Edward Ritter lost a valuable horse Wednesday evening. Hattie McCurtain called on the Parker girls Monday morning. Wm. Markin and Thomas Parker were Rensselaer callers Thursday. Mrs. Greeley Comer and Hertha Parker were Rensselaer goers Monday. ; Mrs. Theodore Smith called on Mrs. Thomas Parker Wednesday afternoon. Earl Haniford, of Gifford, spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Britt and family. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Beaver and daughter spent Sunday with F E Marion and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Smith Spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs Silas Toombs and family. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ritter and two sons, Otto and Eddie, were Rensselaer callers Saturday. aDd 1 ? McCOYSBURG. Grant Lutz was a Rensselaer goer Tuesday. Levi Herr was a Rensselaer visitor Tuesday. Mts. Jessie Brown is recovering from the mumps. Mrs. J. R. Phillips was a Rensselaer goer Tuesday. Mrs. James Jeffries was a Rensselaer goer Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bussell were Rensselaer callers Wednesday. The Ladies’ Aid met Thursday afternoon with Mrs. W. R. Willet. Airs. I). W. Johnson visited her daughter, Mrs. Grant Lutz, Tuesday. Leslie Lowman is the owner of a
new buggy: and he was out using it 1 Sunday. Mrs. .1. R. Phillips and mother called on Mrs. Charles Stultz Wednesday evening. Mrs. Paul Stephens and mother-in-law called on Mrs. J. R. Phillips Thursday forenoon. T. B. Stevenson put in his new floor Wednesday and it improves the looks quite a bit. We are having some cool weather and most every one is 'wanting their heavier clothing on again. Jay and John Woods, who visited their grandparents Saturday, returned home Sunday morning. Mrs. Charles Ferguson, who has been sick for nearly two weeks, Is improving slowly at this writing.

Mr. and Mrs. William Wooly, of Brook, spent Sunflay with John Wildrick and family. Benjamin Geesa was a Mt. Avr caller Saturday, One would hardly I'cheve he will be eighty-one years old the 3d of May, to hear him laugh and joke and tell of the good
