Maine Republicans Refuse te Urge Nomination of Ex-President in 1916. ./Migusta, Me., April 10. —A move to have the Republican state convention recommend the nomination of Theodore Roosevelt as a candidate for president in 1916 met with failure. A resolution to that end adopted by the Republican caucus of the town of Yarmouth and offered as an amendment to the platform was declared out of order.
