Two Lafayette Papers Likely to Be Merged.
Henry W, Marshall, bf Lafayette, former republican district chairman, has recently purchased the Lafayette Sunday Tinies and the Lafayette Morning .Journal and it is probable the two papers will be merged. The new firm has incorporated under 'the name of Journal-Times Company, with a capital of $ 125,000. H. W. Marshall, George P. Haywood, Jr., and H, W. Marshall, Jr., comprise the company. The Journal has heretofore been published by George P. Haywood in connection with the Burt-Haywood job pointing establishment, but the latter will now be a separate institution.
