Stag Party" Given by Columbus Club.

The home of Joseph Ifallagan, on Front street, was the scene of the second annual banquet of the eighteen members of the Columbus Club ol the local order of Knights of Columbus St. Patrick’s day evening. John O’Connor .and Judge C. W. IJanley, also several applicants for membership were the guests of honor. Daniel Morrisey, who presided as toastmaster, introduced each of the speakers, whose subjects were: John O’Connor, "The Stars and Stripes;" Thomas M. Callahan, "Our Members;" E. P. Honan, "Th'e Rensselaer Columbus Club." Interspersed among the speeches were several familiar American and Irish songs, sung by William Burke. The growth of the clulb has been healthy and quite rapid, andyttk is t'ho intention to hold the next annual banquet at the parochial school hall, in orde'r to take care of the constantly increasing membership.
