State, William Jennings Bryan. ■i Indiana may feel justly proud of the , splendid statesmanship of Senators Shiyely and Kern and our corps of Indiana Congressmen in upholding the policies of our President and our National Platform. We of Jasper county are especially pleased with thewise action o f our own Representative in Con- . gress. and the 10th Indiana Distriet may well congratulate itself bn enlisting the services of that clean, honest, fearless gentleman and splendid citizen. John B. Peterson, and we hereby pledge to him out,, most earnest support.for reelection in November: We heartily endorse the wise and able administration of the affairs of State, in that Christian gentleman, Governor Samuel M. Ralston. He has proven to be one of the ablest executives ever chosen to that position in this great common weal th. We commend the able manner in which the other state offices have been conducted by Democraticlmeumbonts, and especially approve the action of the last General Assembly of Indiana, in fixing State levies, so as to fearlessly meet the defecits made by the prodigal administration of the financial: affairs of our State by the inefficiency of tne Republican office holders. We point with pride to the able manner in which our Democratic officers of Jasper county have conducted the business affairs of their offices, and we here and now pledge to the voters of Jasper County a ? ise ’ 'Thle and economical administration of the business affairs of this County, if the nominees of this convention be elected in November,
