Wife of Former Rensselaer Editor Dies.

Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Honan received a card from F. D. Craig of Indiana-! polls, a few days ago, stating that) his wife, Mrs. Ida Craig, had died; in Indianapolis, Jan. 7, and he was passing through Rensselaer Friday evening with the remains, taking them to their old home at Mt.! Pleasant, lowa, for burial. Mr. Craig ! was editor and publisher of the People’s Pilot, a populist paper publish? ed here for several years and later succeeded by the Rensselaer Journal, the plant, being sold to Leslie Clark, For several years the Craigs have been conducting a hbtel at 328 East Washington St., Indianapolis,! known as Craig’s Hotel. Both Mr. | and Mrs. Craig have many friendsand acquaintances in Rensselaer and Jasper county, who will be sorry to | learn of the latter’s death. Mr. and : Mrs. Craig had been married twen-l ty-two years.
