Aged Man Falls and Breaks His Leg.

Uncle John Groom, who is about ■taety years of age and lives alone ®«t by the Groom’s bridge, north of town, got a bad fall Wednesday mornTng which may be the cause of his death. He had gotten up to start his fire and in some way fell breaking the bone in one of his limbs near the hip. He lay there unable to move until about ten o clock in the forenoon before his plight was discovered and a doctor summoned. A couple of Milt Michaels’ boys, who were taking him some bread their mother had baked for him, discovered his plight.
